Tordivel is delighted to announce that we will be attending Vision Show, the leading trade fair for Machine Vision in Stuttgart, 8-10 November 2016.
Thor Vollset – the CEO and founder of Tordivel will present a backgrounder the Scorpion 3D Stinger for Robot Vision 2.0 in the talk “3D Stereo Vision and Vision Guided Robots” on the November the 9th @ 13.00.
“We will the basic principles for 3D machine vision to guide robots. We will present a a couple of real world application and show how the accuracy and speed can be improved by combining 3D in 2D image processing with dense 3D images generated by blockmatching”
This year we will exhibit together with our german distributors in Hall 1. We will preview the upcoming Scorpion Vision XII for the first time at the Vision Show.
Our focus this year is the award-winning Scorpion 3D Stinger for Robot Vision 2.0 based upon Scorpion Vision XII. We will be demonstrating advanced 3D picking locating multiple product with 6 degrees of freedom.
The Scorpion 3D Stinger Camera is a unique, adaptable, and provides the following features: superior projector option, power range up to 500mW, red or infrared, single line, multiple line and random pattern projection patterns, plus built in strobing for laser and LEDs.
Our newest product Scorpion 3D Stinger Scanner can capture 2K 3D profiles with a framerate upto 1500 fps. It is contained in the Scorpion 3D Stinger Camera IP-64 enclosure Model B. Model B is upgraded with a new Scorpion Stinger SMARTcard that can synchronize a high resolution color camera with the 3D laser profile data. The SMARTcard can be powered using POE or 24V.
