In the new Scorpion Vision X.II build 555 there is an exciting History Curve function addsto the powerful process insight capabilities of Scorpion Vision Software.
The new History Curve can monitor the stability of a measurement or a system over hours, days or weeks.
Below a history curve is shown. The curve is setup in such a way that two process variables are monitored.
- Width-B.Length
- NearestPointOnLine.Distance
For every minute the following three user selected values are calculated for each curve Min – percentile[0], Max – percentile[100] and Median – percentile[50]. This provides 24 hours * 60 minutes = 1440 measurements pr day. It is then easy to watch and prove the stability of your measurement solution.

Zooming in at the period from 8:10 to 9:25 shows a stable measurement the Width-B parameter. The average value is 399.43 and most values are between 399.3 and 399.6 mm

The Setup shows the History Curvetype with the period – Day and the decimation period set to 1 minute.
