Counting is a good Scorpion Application

In Scorpion Vision there a two excellent tools that can be used for counting.  This is the standard pattern matcher TemplateFinder3 and the new tool designed for 3D Stereo Vision CircleSegmentor.  The 240 boxes below is counted reliably in 2.0 seconds. Important features with CircleSegmentor are:

• Is not effected by illumination skew
• There is no problem with lacking separation / segmentation
• Works on color and black and white images
• Will work in office space

Adding a second camera and Scorpion Vision8 3D will locate each glass in 3D and we have what we need to build an accurate Box Picking System.
