The camera in question is the 2.3 MPixel 3D Camera using Infrared (IR) Laser to create the 3D model.  The system is developed using the latest Scorpion Vision Software XV – a leading machine vision framework used in Industrial Automation.

The camera targets Industrial Automation – multiple 3D cameras can work together to extend the working range – with four cameras the working area is 4x as big without sacrifising resolution.
