The pharmaceutical company GE Healthcare strives to develop new medical solutions that can form the basis for future health care. In Oslo, Norway GE Healtcare has teamed up with Tordivel AS in developing a unique automatic 3D inspection solution based on Scorpion 3D Stinger designed to detect faulty FASTlab cassettes in the production of PET contrast media.
During the inspection cycle Scorpion 3D Stinger takes 34 images of each cassette and performs 120 quality inspections. The resolution is 0,01 mm in x- and y- and 0,1 mm in z-direction.
