New lower cost industrial IP-64 Scorpion 3D Stinger RPP Camera with 30 mm baseline
We are happy to announce our latest addition to the Scorpion 3D Stinger Camera series. The units is designed to be mounted on a robot and work in the toughest industrial environment 24/7. The Scorpion 3D Stinger cameras extract 3D information on moving objects. The compact size and smaller baseline makes it a replacement for 2D cameras where true 3D machine vision is needed in assembly verification and 3D object location.
The camera is designed to work at a distance of 100 – 400 mm with a corresponding 3D Field of View of typical range of 100 x 100 x 75 mm to 200 x 200 x 150 mm with an expected z-resolution of 0.1 to 0.3 mm.
A compact IP-64 Industrial Stereo Vision unit with built Scorpion Stinger Contral Card, two GigE Cameras, RPP – random pattern projection laser and high power led and a 30 mm baseline. The camera is compatible with Scorpion Compact Vision, Scorpion Vision Software and the unique One Push Calibration device for automatic, fast and accurate 3D calibration.
