We are continously working to improve Scorpion Vision Software with valuable features. One feature worth to mention is CylinderMonoPose3D – locate a cylinder with a single camera.
The setup dialog contains the following properties:
- 3D camera calibration
- The diameter of the cylinder
- The two edge lines of the cylinder
What can we do?
How valuable is this function?
Depending on the geometry and the object this can be a valuable method to locate a cylinder. It will probably work best when one look at an angle and where the diameter is given exactly. It is fast and easy to set up 🙂
