This is a project where Scorpion 3D Stinger for Robot Vision pick furniture parts from a pallet. The products are put on a pallet size 1200 x 800 mm and 2 m high. The 3D system has replaced an old and fine 2D solution that never really succeeded because of too highj stop rate – the 3D solution never fails due to extracted the most accurate location from 4 images using 3D stereo vision.
