Here is a three  3D camera lineup in front of the new Scorpion Junction Box. The box controls up to eight Scorpion GigE cameras, 12 LEDspots and 2 RPP lasers.

The camera in question is the 2.3 MPixel 3D Camera using Infrared (IR) Laser to create the 3D model.  The system is developed using the latest Scorpion Vision Software XV – a leading machine vision framework used in Industrial Automation.

The camera targets Industrial Automation – multiple 3D cameras can work together to extend the working range – with four cameras the working area is 4x as big without sacrifising resolution.
