Scorpion Vision has been used for casting Robot Vision for many years.
Scorpion 3D Stinger™ for Robot Vision solves manufacturers’ classic challenge: Picking parts from a conveyor belt, a pallet or a crate.
In the video we show Scorpion 3D Stinger locating and identifing casting parts robustly in 3D using the position of 4 to 8 natural features.
3D Vision Task
One of the robots has two picking positions and two diferent parts. Scorpion 3D Stinger identifies and locates the parts using the position x,y,z of six natural part features. The system locates the parts in only 1 seconds and will never fail because of it’s unique 3D capabilities.
